A new page just for Employment Services Providers
To make it easier for ESPs to refer applicants under the Productivity Places Program - Job Seekers scheme, we created this page.
It provides a one-stop reference for the documents we need to receive from you.
We have also revised the content of our Productivity Places Program pages to bring the information back up-to-date.
Due to rolling intakes, however, we have not established specific workshop dates for Certificate III programs. This is largely due to DEEWR approving a limited number of applications per state each month. You are welcome to discuss your applicants projected start and nominal end dates with us prior to submitting an application.
We also remind all ESPs that an applicant is allowed to
- transfer to a different qualification provided training has not commenced
- transfer to a new RTO authorised under the PPP to provide the program - again provided training has not commenced
- undertake additional training through PPP provided that
- the applicant has made a serious effort at obtaining empolyment on the basis of prior PPP-funded training
- at least three months have passed since their last enrolment through a PPP-funded program
This is designed to allow applicants to secure training where a clear career path exists and higher-level qualifications are required in the workplace.
