Leaving your course early
There are times when it is necessary to withdraw from a program or short course before completing all of the assessable requirements. If you do need to leave before completing all module or certificate requirements, please make sure that you are aware of the relevant provisions in our Refund Policy.
Our courses are structured so that, when necessary, a candidate can leave a module or certificate programme at several different points with either:
- A Statement of Attendance if the exit point is at the completion of a specific workshop or correspondence course component but no Units are completed
- A Statement of Attainment if all the required components to be assessed competent against a specified Unit of Competency have been completed.
The flexible course structures also allow candidates to complete the courses at their own pace and this should assist people who experience short term interruptions to their study programs by unforeseen events.
